RackVM Benchmark

Reviews, Virtual Private Server
Alert: (05-Sep-2010) RackVM is/was a shady business and Ben, owner of RackVM, has run away with hundreds of client's payments. As of today, all of their nodes are down. Ben just tricked everyone to his per annum offers and ran away with cash in hand. Unfortunately, I was also one of these victims. (status updates) and who changed his/her profile picture? So last night I was up, as…

I will advise everyone to KEEP AWAY from Rus Foster and ThrustVPS.com (click here to read the full review) Unix Benchmark results from ThrustVPS using unixbench v 5.1.2 Specs: 512MB / 15GB XEN PV running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS [code] # # # # # # # ##### ###### # # #### # # # # ## # # # # # # # ## # # # # # # # # # # # ## ##### ##### # # # # ###### # #…

Linode is Blazzing Fast

Personal, Thoughts
I asked my client to buy a Linode for some testing purposes and I tried it for the first time. I must say, Linode is blazzing fast. Downloads are touching 8M/sec and speed, performance is as if its running on a VM on my local system. Update: Now its been almost a month running Linode and I strongly recommend this VPS company.
